Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Calculator: History & Percent (the "App") handles information. The App is designed to work without an account, and calculations and calculation history stay on your device.

1. Information stored on your device

The App stores calculation history, calculator preferences, language selection, and related app settings locally on your device. This information is not sent to our servers. You can clear calculation history from the App's Settings screen, and uninstalling the App removes locally stored App data.

2. Advertising

The App uses Google Mobile Ads to display advertisements unless you purchase the ad-free option. Google and its advertising partners may process information such as device or advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, ad impressions and interactions, and diagnostic information to deliver, measure, and improve advertising, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Analytics and diagnostics

The App uses Firebase Analytics, a Google service, to understand app usage, measure performance, diagnose technical issues, and improve the App. Firebase may process app interactions, device and app identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, and diagnostic or performance information.

4. Purchases

In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Apple may provide limited transaction information needed to verify and restore your purchase. Apple's handling of information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

5. Information we do not request

The App does not require you to create an account. It does not request access to your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, precise location, or health data. It does not collect the numbers or expressions you enter into the calculators on our own servers.

6. Sharing and sale of information

We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by the service providers identified in this policy for the purposes described above, or disclosed when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

7. Retention and deletion

Local App data remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the App. Information processed by Google and Apple is retained according to their respective policies and your account or device settings. You may contact us using the email below if you have a privacy question or need help exercising an applicable privacy right.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the App. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review the matter.

10. International processing

Google and Apple may process information in countries other than your country of residence. Their privacy policies describe the safeguards and transfer mechanisms they use.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be posted on this page with a new update date.
